Denali Software Announces Membership in LSI Logic RapidChip Partner Program
The new program offers customers the ideal match of proven certified IP and a silicon platform ideally suited to realize development of advanced, next-generation technologies in record time with low entry costs. Customers increasingly recognize the value proposition of Platform ASICs that enable them to manage design complexity without sacrificing time-to-market and cost targets.
By enabling its IP products on LSI Logic's RapidChip Platform ASICs, Denali expects to gain a significant avenue to bring its industry-leading Databahn™ DDR controller IP products to LSI Logic customers. Further, the RapidChip Partner Program is consistent with the industry trend and Denali's strategy to reduce time-to-revenue, design risk and system costs by providing Platform ASIC designers with world-class development tools, including configurable IP cores and verification IP for complex chip interfaces.
"We are pleased to be a member of the RapidChip Partner Program," says Kevin Silver, Denali vice president of marketing. "We share a common mission with LSI Logic to increase design productivity and speed time to market. Databahn, together with RapidChip's low entry cost platform, enables quick time to market and reduced risk for custom IC development. Together, we are delivering a complete solution to quickly create complete system-on-chips efficiently and predictably."
Denali's IP products will complement the LSI Logic CoreWare® IP library to provide high-quality DDR controllers that are fully configurable for the right set of technology features, enabling RapidChip customers to manage design complexity without sacrificing time-to-market and cost targets.
"Denali is an industry recognized leader in IP for design and verification of DDR memory systems, and its IP products are well-suited to use in RapidChip end applications," said Ronnie Vasishta, vice president of Technology Marketing for LSI Logic. "We welcome Denali to the Partner Program to enable its IP on RapidChip, providing a new avenue for an expanded customer base."
