QuickLogic Announces $1M eFPGA Hard IP Contract for Data Center ASIC
First IP Contract for High Performance Computing Application
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 2, 2025 -- QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), a developer of embedded FPGA (eFPGA) Hard IP, Strategic Radiation Hardened, Antifuse and ruggedized FPGAs, announced today that its eFPGA Hard IP was selected for a new high-performance Data Center ASIC design that will be fabricated on an industry-proven 12 nm process technology. IP delivery for this contract is scheduled for Q4 2025.
"We are excited to announce our first eFPGA Hard IP contract for the high-performance commercial data center market - a testament that eFPGA IP is becoming a critical IP for system companies," said Andy Jaros, VP of IP Sales at QuickLogic. "With our eFPGA Hard IP established across multiple fabrication nodes and used in a wide variety of demanding commercial and Defense applications, we're able to quickly deliver customer-specific variants that reduce project risk and provide users the in-system reprogrammability that can only be supported by FPGA technology."
By leveraging the power of its proprietary Australis IP Generator, QuickLogic can deliver customer-specific eFPGA Hard IP in weeks for the many fabrication nodes it has established and for new fabrication nodes, in only four to six months. QuickLogic eFPGA Hard IP is supported by two versions of its FPGA User Tools; a 100% open-source version named Aurora, and Aurora Pro, which includes Synopsys® Synplify® FPGA Logic Synthesis.
