Omnitrx introduces Omni500 Ethernet Evaluation Platform, Built on Comcores Expertise

Copenhagen, Denmark – April 13, 2026 – The continued evolution of automotive and industrial Ethernet is driving the need for more advanced validation and testing environments. Addressing this need, Omnitrx introduces Omni500, a high-performance evaluation and hardware test platform designed to support the development of next-generation Time Sensitive Ethernet systems and interfaces.

Omni500 supports Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), multi-speed Ethernet connectivity, and advanced synchronization capabilities essential for modern software-defined systems with time critical processes. It enables testing of TSN end stations, switching functionality, hardware timestamping, and a security features.

Omni500 integrates state of the art TSN Ethernet IPs from Omnitrx’s sister company, Comcores. It bridges the gap between silicon-level innovation and system-level validation. The platform enables engineers to evaluate, prototype, and test complex TSN Ethernet architectures in a controlled and flexible environment and allows using new Ethernet interface standards, like 10BASE-T1S.
In addition, Omni500 supports mapping / demapping of legacy interfaces like CAN & LIN through an optional gateway implementing IEEE 1722. All parameters can be monitored and configured through a flexible GUI and / or API.
