Sonics Licenses On-Chip Network Technology To MediaTek
MILPITAS, Calif., Jan. 8, 2014 -- Sonics, Inc., the world's foremost supplier of network-on-chip (NoC) technologies and services, today announced that it has licensed its on-chip interconnect technology to MediaTek Inc., a leading fabless semiconductor company for wireless communications and digital multimedia solutions. MediaTek will use Sonics' technology in a forthcoming new line of systems-on-chip (SoC).
