SafeNet to Launch New Enterprise Security Processor at Network Systems Design Conference

– SafeNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFNT), setting the standard for information security, today announced that SafeNet will launch the next generation of it's enterprise security processor, the SafeXcel-5150, at the Network Systems Design Conference (NSDC), in San Jose, California.
Broadening SafeNet's suite of cost-effective security processors, the SafeXcel-5150 features full-duplex 100 Mbit/s performance for small packets, combining a powerful RISC processor and fastpath inline security packet processing on a single chip. Built for the requirements of the SME security gateway market, the SafeXcel-5150 targets appliances designed for Fast Ethernet 100 Mbit/s throughput.
The new Enterprise Security Processor is a key component of SafeNet's fully integrated security solutions for OEMs in telecommunications, SME, SOHO, and Semiconductor markets. SafeNet OEM products include SafeXcel security processors, QuickSec security software and silicon-proven semiconductor IP. This complete security platform enables vendors to build next-generation network security solutions while reducing total cost and time to market.
SafeNet will be exhibiting in booth #217 at the NSD on October 19 and 20 at the Parkside Hall in San Jose, California.
