Qualitas Semiconductor Signs PCIe Gen 4.0 PHY IP License Agreement with Leading Chinese Fabless Customer

SEOUL, South Korea – September 17, 2025 – QUALITAS SEMICONDUCTOR CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Qualitas") (KOSDAQ: 432720), a leading provider of high-speed interconnect solutions, has announced today that it has signed a license agreement with a leading fabless semiconductor customer in China for PCIe Gen 4.0 PHY IP.

Under this agreement, Qualitas will deliver PCIe Gen 4.0 PHY IP based on the 8nm process node, enabling the customer’s next-generation SoC design with high-performance, low-power interface technology.

PCIe PHY IP is one of Qualitas’s key technologies, silicon-proven and validated by leading global customers. The PCIe Gen 4.0 PHY IP has built a robust track record through multiple design wins worldwide and is recognized for its proven mass-production history, reliability, and interoperability.

Qualitas secured a PCIe Gen 4.0 PHY IP design win on the 5nm process node last year and, earlier this year, successfully signed a PCIe Gen 6.0 PHY IP on the 4nm license agreement. These milestones further demonstrate Qualitas’ technology leadership and market trust in cutting-edge process nodes, strengthening its position as a key player in PCIe interconnect solutions.

Looking ahead, Qualitas plans to expand its portfolio further, spanning both PCIe PHY IP and Controller IP, to support customers’ high-performance SoC design requirements and deliver optimized, end-to-end solutions.
