Orthogone Technologies unveils major upgrade to its ULL FPGA Framework to push hardware performance and latency optimization to new heights
Montreal, Canada – August 13, 2025 – Orthogone Technologies, a leader in high-performance embedded systems and FPGA design services, is proud to announce the launch of a new and enhanced version of its Ultra-Low Latency (ULL) FPGA Framework. This release delivers significant advancements for developers and system architects seeking to boost hardware acceleration performance and optimize latency-critical applications.
Designed for demanding industries such as high-frequency trading (HFT), high performance computing (HPC), and network acceleration, the updated framework introduces a suite of new capabilities aimed at reducing time-to-market and increasing design flexibility.
Key enhancements include:
- Extended support for AMD Alveo™ UL3524 and UL3422 FPGA platforms, complete with reference design examples for rapid prototyping and integration
- Upgraded 10G TCP/IP and UDP/IP cores featuring a 16-bit MAC interface running at 644 MHz, delivering ultra-low latency data throughput
- A comprehensive end-to-end simulation environment, including a rich library of test cases to streamline validation and verification processes
- Improved FPGA timing margins at 644 MHz for enhanced reliability and performance at the highest clock rates
- Native support for Ubuntu, offering greater development flexibility across diverse system environments
“Our latest ULL FPGA Framework represents a significant leap forward in terms of flexibility, portability, and performance. By supporting the latest AMD FPGA platforms and pushing 10G networking cores to run efficiently at 644 MHz, we’re giving our customers the tools to build best-in-class ultra-low latency systems—faster and more reliably than ever before.” said Alexandre Raymond, CTO at Orthogone Technologies.
The updated framework empowers engineering teams to accelerate FPGA development cycles, reduce risk during integration, and deploy latency-optimized applications with confidence. Whether building custom trading platforms, network appliances, or high-performance computing applications, Orthogone’s ULL Framework delivers a competitive edge in hardware acceleration and performance tuning.
