IntelliProp Releases Additional Verification IP for Storage Interfaces

-- IntelliProp, a leading provider of storage interface IP and verification environments, today announced the availability of additions to its portfolio of verification products. The new products are focused on the fast growing market
for consumer based storage applications as well as enterprise applications.  Specifically, IntelliProp’s newly released verification environments are:

• CE-ATA, MMC, CF+ host and device eVCs for consumer storage applications
• Fiber Channel eVCs for the high performance enterprise storage applications.

IntelliProp has been involved in the CE-ATA working group for since its inception.   The CE-ATA eVCs are available now. FC eVC will be available in the second quarter of 2006.

These new products are additions to the existing IntelliProp verification product set that includes:

• SATA eVCs
• SAS eVCs

“These new verification products are a response to customer requests for verification technology which allows them to quickly enter emerging markets based on new storage protocols” stated Amit Shaligram, Director of Verification Products and co-founder of IntelliProp. “The products expand IntelliProp’s IP portfolio as well as widen the customer base addressed by the company. Additional verification products are in development as part of our aggressive verification product roadmap”.

IntelliProp pioneered the transaction based verification IP for storage protocols with its release of the SATA eVC in 2003. The SATA eVC is in use by a large number of global customers, with many customers engaged in second and third generation designs. It is the most mature product of its kind on the market. In 2004, IntelliProp introduced the SAS eVC to further support the company’s storage focused customer base and expand on its leadership in the verification IP market resulting from the success of the SATA eVC.

In addition to the verification environments described above, IntelliProp offers a selection of corresponding ASIC cores.
