Altera Customers Now Have Access to GDA Technologies' Extensive Expertise in Embedded, Networking, and Consumer Electronics Applications

San Jose, Calif., May 5, 2003 — Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced that GDA Technologies has joined the Altera Consultants Alliance Program (ACAP®). As the newest ACAP member, San Jose-based GDA Technologies will provide Altera customers with extensive design expertise in developing complete system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) solutions, extending Altera's reach into embedded, networking, high-end consumer electronics, digital signal processing (DSP), and wireless local area network (LAN) markets.
