Verisity Announces That National Semiconductor Corporation Standardizes on Verisity's Specman Elite
Verisity, Ltd. (Nasdaq:VRST), the leading supplier of verification process automation solutions, today announced that National Semiconductor has standardized on Verisity's Specman Elite(R) verification process automation. National's verification teams are using Specman Elite to speed verification of their complex SoC and IP designs, as well as ensure higher quality products. In addition, National is using several of Verisity's e Verification Components (eVCs) for standard interfaces such as AMBA AHB, USB and PCIX.
National selected Verisity as its preferred functional verification solutions provider as Verisity's technology and methodology enables National to create and deliver high-quality SoC and IP designs. Specman Elite offers National's engineers an environment for all aspects of verification, including automatic generation of functional tests, data and assertion checking and functional coverage analysis.
Specman Elite also provides National with a comprehensive verification reuse methodology. With Specman Elite, National can incorporate e Verification Components (eVCs) into their designs to dramatically save time when developing their verification environments. eVCs are reusable, configurable plug-and-play verification environments for standard interfaces and are based on Specman Elite. Several different sites and projects within National are using Specman Elite and eVCs.
