“Innovium’s TERALYNX data-center Ethernet switch family delivers 2T to industry-fastest 12.8T bandwidth, while delivering advanced telemetry, low latency, rich tunneling and programmability to enable unmatched visibility while easily adapting to new network protocols and topologies,” said Mohammad Issa, CDO & Founder of Innovium. “Innovium was pleased to work with Tamba and its innovative IP, as we developed our highly innovative TERALYNX switch.”
“Tamba is delighted to collaborate with the leading edge Innovium engineering team,” said Soren Pedersen, President. “We are proud to enable new heights for data center switch performance, thereby meeting the explosive bandwidth and scale needs of next generation data centers.”
Here are the highlights of Tamba products:
- Ethernet IP cores at rates from 1Gbps to 400Gbps. Multi-rate/channelized or single rate cores
- Interlaken IP Cores 1,000Gbps+, 32 lanes, 112 Gbps/lane
- Latency, size and power unmatched in the industry for ASIC and FPGA targets
Latency has become a key differentiator for financial markets firms attempting to reduce tick to trade latency, and there has been a gradual trend from software based trading to hardware accelerated trading. As such low latency is one of the frequent key criteria for customers choosing Tamba Networks. In the 6 years, since launch of the Ethernet products, Tamba has become the dominant low latency supplier in financial markets. Tamba has now extended its reach into the data center with highly differentiated 400G channelized Ethernet products with best in class latency, size, and power.
