Sidense Chosen One of Canada's "Companies to Watch" in the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards
Ottawa, Canada – September 25, 2008 – Sidense, the leading developer of Logic Non-Volatile Memory (LNVM) IP cores, today announced that it has won a Companies-to-Watch Award, one of four separate awards categories that make up the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards, the pre-eminent technology awards program in Canada.
The Companies-to-Watch Award honors early-stage Canadian technology companies that have been in business less than five years. These companies exemplify many of the winning characteristics of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranked companies, which are judged using a longer track record.
“We have an outstanding team at Sidense and, with supportive investors, patented 1T-Fuse™ technology and increasing market acceptance, we are prepared to be the premier supplier of embedded one-time programmable memory to the semiconductor industry,” said Xerxes Wania, Sidense President and CEO.
“Companies-to-Watch” award winners frequently go on to score high rankings in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 once they have a five-year track record,” said John Ruffolo, National Leader, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Group, Deloitte. “Sidense has quickly distinguished itself for its innovative technology and entrepreneurship and this award recognizes its potential as a future leader in the Canadian technology industry.”
