picoTurbo Announces Excellent Third Quarter Results

MILPITAS, CA – November 8, 2000 -- picoTurboÔ , Inc., a premier developer of 16/32-bit RISC embedded microprocessor cores for embedded applications, announced today that its third quarter results continued to build on a solid second quarter by doubling second quarter revenue. Highlights of the third quarter included licensing their 19^th core microprocessor, contracting with Premier Microelectronics Sales, Inc. to represent picoTurbo in Taiwan and the designation by UMC as a member of their Gold IP Program for select partners.

The picoTurbo DesignerNetÔ program was also announced during third quarter. It was established to meet the growing requirements for picoTurbo system-on-chip (SOC) designs by certified design partners. This program increases the number of picoTurbo- trained designers that have the tools, training and experience to implement quality picoTurbo-based SOC designs. As part of the picoTurbo DesignerNet program, partners have access to picoTurbo technology, product promotions and services, as well as technical support and joint marketing opportunities.
