NS8 Forms Co-Development Relationship with Improv Systems to Create a Semiconductor Development Environment for Mobile Devices with iWave Interactive Systems
-- NS8 Corporation (OTCBB:NSEO) announces that it has formed a co-development relationship with Improv Systems, Inc. of Beverly, Massachusetts to create a Semiconductor integration platform supporting the Mobile IP On-Demand market. The relationship will embed NS8's iWave Interactive Systems architecture (iWave) into a system-on-chip (SoC) reference platform incorporating Improv's configurable JazzDSP, including an integrated encryption and streaming media decoding in mobile applications like cellular phones. This will create a highly secure, client-side solution for content protection integrated with software for distribution management, real-time tracking, auditing and reporting.
"NS8 has developed leading-edge video distribution and media management systems and we are looking forward to supporting this architecture since the demand for video co-processing in CE devices is growing exponentially", said Cary Ussery, CEO of Improv Systems, Inc.
"Forming a relationship between NS8 and Improv Systems will drive our road map of putting our technology in a silicon (Chip) platform, creating a whole new paradigm in the market that will give content owners complete security, distribution and business control over their media within the emerging Mobile IP market space", said Brent Bysouth, Chief Software Architect of NS8.
