NetSpeed systems featured in EE TIMES' Silicon 60: Emerging Companies to Watch
San Jose, Calif., September 26, 2016—NetSpeed Systems Inc., announced today that EE Times, the leading online magazine for the electrical engineering industry, selected NetSpeed as one of its Silicon 60: 2016's Emerging Companies to Watch.
According to EE TIMES, selection is based on the consideration of a mix of criteria including technology, intended market, financial position and investment profile, maturity and executive leadership. They are emerging companies to follow — for a variety of reasons.
“This comes as a welcome surprise. We didn’t realize NetSpeed was being considered,” said Sundari Mitra, co-founder and CEO of NetSpeed. “We take this as further recognition of NetSpeed’s unique contribution to the market and our commitment to providing OEMs an easier and more cost effective way to assemble SoCs.”
NetSpeed provides the industry’s most advanced on-chip network solutions and offers the only SoC interconnect solution that uses machine learning to accurately model the system as whole to achieve the best application performance. In contrast, conventional approaches tend to optimize individual subsystems in isolation, which can result in bottlenecks and systems that are overdesigned to handle worst case conditions. Its products deliver high performance and significant time-to-market advantages to SoC designers in a wide range of markets from mobile and networking to high-performance computing.
NetSpeed is one of 25 newcomers added to the list this year representing companies active in materials, MEMS sensors and actuators, displays, machine learning, networking, EDA, image sensing, wireless power, open-hardware and memory.
