IPextreme to Conduct IP Demos, Talks at DAC
CAMPBELL, CA, July 12, 2006 –IPextreme® Inc., a value-added reseller and technology support center for semiconductor intellectual property (IP) will be discussing and demonstrating the use and integration of specialized intellectual property cores with multiple partners during the 43rd Design Automation Conference in San Francisco, July 24-27.
Bluetooth Wireless Hi-Fi Stereo Demo
IPextreme will be demonstrating its CoolBlue high-fidelity wireless audio solution that combines the company’s low-power, easy-to-integrate XBlue1200 Bluetooth baseband IP with the compact and ultra-low power CoolFlux DSP audio core from Philips Applied Technologies. The solution, built using Target Compiler’s development tools, will be presented in Target Compiler Technologies’ booth, number 1011.
FlexRay Integration Using Platform Express Demo
Attendees will learn how they can automate the creation of SoC designs from IP, such as IPextreme’s silicon proven Freescale FlexRay IP, on Mentor Graphics Platform Express, that supports The SPIRIT Consortium’s specifications. This demo will be presented at The SPIRIT Consortium General Meeting, held at the San Francisco Marriott hotel on Monday, July 24th, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in salons one, two and three.
Structural Changes in Semiconductor Design Presentation
Trent Poltronetti, vice president of marketing for IPextreme, is presenting on how “Structural Changes in Semiconductor Design” are driving changes to IP subsystem development and use, thereby requiring offerings such as MatrixOne’s collaborative product lifecycle management solutions and IPextreme’s IP commercialization and consolidation service. This presentation will take place from 1.30 to 2.00 p.m. each afternoon in the MatrixOne booth, number 1828.
