IP-Maker to showcase new NVMe reference design at Flash Memory Summit

NVMe solution for data center systems

Aug 4, 2014 -- Aix en Provence, France -- IP-Maker, the expert in intellectual property (IP) for high performance storage applications, is announcing the availability of a new NVMe reference design, featuring the full hardware NVMe IP integrated with PCIe and DDR3 controller interconnections.

"We will be more than happy to share our technical knowledge about NVMe technology at Flash Memory Summit", said Mickael Guyard, product marketing director with IP-Maker. "We will showcase our new NVMe reference design on the exhibition area, and present it at the conference during the PCIe Storage track (Hardware NVMe Implementation in Cache and Storage Systems)."

This NVMe reference design is available on Xilinx Virtex-7 and Zynq FPGA platforms, delivering 10µs latency and 350kIOPS on a PCIe Gen2 x4 configuration. This is the fastest NVMe architecture based on a unique full hardware architecture featuring an automatic command processing and a multi- channel DMA.

This is the ideal solution for all data center companies willing to evaluate NVMe performances and protocol in their systems. From the host side, it is seen as a NVMe storage system featuring incredible performances thanks to the DDR3 interface.

Fides Sales, the Silicon Valley rep for IP-Maker, will be at the show supporting IP-Maker, and following up/ driving engagement locally.
