IndigoVision and Sinostar announce new deal
May 12, 2004 - IndigoVision the Edinburgh, Scotland based designer of the market leading Mainstream MPEG-4 Video Codec and Sinostar Technologies Inc of Taipei, Taiwan, a leading distributor of Technology ASSPs, Silicon Intellectual Property, Development tools, Operating System and Application Software in Taiwan today announced the signing of a new Sales Distributor Agreement.
IndigoVision and Sinostar have just completed a very successful first year of partnership during which several major Taiwan based fabless semi-conductor companies have signed license deals for the IndigoVision Mainstream MPEG-4 IP and this new Agreement seals the partnership for a further 12 months.
Ted Chen, President of Sinostar said "We are proud of our success selling the IndigoVision Mainstream MPEG-4 IP in our first year and we are confident that our success will grow in 2003. The IndigoVision MPEG-4 IP is a silicon proven high performance IP core and in competitive trials has out performed the competition.
