IndigoVision Signs Licensing Agreement with Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions.
Honeywell gains Access to leading-edge Live Networked Video technology
29 August 2002 - IndigoVision Group plc (LSE: IND), the leader in Live Networked Video technologies, today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Honeywell (NYSE: HON) Automation and Control Solutions (ACS).
Under the agreement, Honeywell ACS gains access to IndigoVision's VideoBridge® technology, which can be used in a range of security-based video solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. VideoBridge is IndigoVision's protocol for communicating between devices that view, record, retrieve and analyze video.
"This technology will enable us to provide our customers with greater picture quality at a lower cost than traditional analog and hybrid analog/digital solutions, " said Roger Fradin, president of Automation and Control Products.
