The fourth quarter revenue was NT$1,102 million, while net income and basic earnings per share came to NT$122 million and NT$0.34 per share, respectively.

On application perspective, apart from the remarkable growth in communication and consumer electronic products, some niche applications in emerging markets are notable as well.
Looking into the future, Faraday is undertaking more precise cost control and consolidation of finance and operation constitution. In terms of technical and marketing expansion, notably, the proportion of SoC from Faraday ASIC shipment rises yearly, mainly contributed by Faraday's continuous endeavors to competitive CPU, high- speed I/O and design platforms. For high-speed IO, USB3.0 solution is expected to be launched in the lead by Q2 2009.
