Elixent appoints new VP of worldwide sales

Bristol, UK -- January 23 2006 -- Elixent, the leader in reconfigurable semiconductor IP, has promoted Kevin Christensen to VP of worldwide sales from his previous position as director of North American business development. Kevin is now responsible for Elixent’s global sales operations, including expanding the company’s customer base and establishing strategic partnerships worldwide. He continues to be based in California.

Kevin joined Elixent in 2002. He previously worked for Motorola, Conexant and Endpoints at vice-president and director level, where he was responsible for developing and leading business strategy, strategic partnerships and product marketing. He was key in developing the strategy and partnership between Motorola and Kodak for the joint development of CMOS sensors. He also developed the strategy and performed due diligence for Conexant's $43 million acquisition of Sierra Imaging.
