Analog Bits Introduces Design Kits for 16nm FinFET Enabling next generation devices with SERDES, Sensors and PLLs
San Jose, CA, June 2, 2014 . Analog Bits , the semiconductor industry's leading provider of mixed-signal IP (Intellectual Property) solutions, announced the release of FinFET Design Kits to enable customers with the use of mixed-signal technology on TSMC's latest 16nm process. Analog Bits' FinFET Design Kits support a variety of IP products including: SERDES, PLLs and on-chip Sensors for process, voltage and temperature for silicon devices to be manufactured at 16nm.
Commenting from the Design Automation Conference, Mahesh Tirupattur, Analog Bits' Executive Vice President said: "The 16nm FinFET process is the latest in advanced semiconductor manufacturing from TSMC, the leading foundry supplier in our industry. Analog Bits also supports the recently announced 16nm FinFET plus, which TSMC describes as "offering a 15% speed improvement and 30% total power reduction over the earlier version at the same speed." Analog Bits' Design Kits for this are also available now.
