Silvus Technologies and Fastrack Design Form Partnership to Benefit System-on-Chip Companies
New IP/Design Services Partnership Allows for Easy Implementation of the Latest 802.11 Standard -- 802.11n
LOS ANGELES, CA and SUNNYVALE, CA -- Jun 16, 2008 -- Silvus Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of semiconductor Intellectual Property (IP) solutions for wireless applications, and Fastrack Design Inc., a provider of advanced custom ASIC design solutions, today announced the formation of a partnership that will offer their customers total turnkey PHY/MAC 802.11n IP solutions. Silvus Technologies will be providing its 802.11n PHY IP solution. The Silvus 802.11n PHY/MAC IP solution is a licensable and synthesizable HDL implementation of the IEEE Standard 802.11n Draft 2.0 Edition.
Fastrack Design will deliver a full suite of design services including full-chip integration, block-level implementation, and library characterization. Fastrack provides the physical design expertise along with all the necessary implementation tools and computer resources to ensure successful tapeouts.
