TSMC April 2009 Sales Report
Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. - May 8, 2009
- TSMC (TWSE: 2330, NYSE: TSM) today announced its net sales for April 2009: on an unconsolidated basis, sales were approximately NT$21.75 billion, an increase of 59.7 percent over March 2009 and a decrease of 22.6 percent from April 2008. Revenues for January through April 2009 totaled NT$59.34 billion, a decrease of 47.7 percent compared to the same period in 2008.
On a consolidated basis, net sales for April 2009 were approximately NT$ 22.45 billion, an increase of 58.1 percent over March 2009 and a decrease of 22.2 percent from April 2008. Revenues for January through April 2009 totaled NT$61.95 billion, a decrease of 46.8 percent compared to the same period in 2008.
