Sital Technology Announces the World's First Secured 1553 Component
KFAR SABA, Israel, Feb. 6, 2019 — Sital Technology announces the availability of a Secured MIL-STD-1553B/1760 solution. The secured 1553 capabilities provide real-time detection and prevention against zero-day cyber-attacks.
“The secured 1553 solution by Sital integrates real-time logic to ensure flight safety and mission execution while defending against harmful attacks,” said Ofer Hofman, Sital Technology Chief Technology Officer. “Secure and safe 1553 is a necessary upgrade bringing MIL-STD-1553B into the 21st century application requirements.”
The Secured 1553 solution is available as a standalone FPGA IP core, and as a part of Sital’s MIL-STD-1553B/1760 product portfolio.
“A single Secured 1553 instance can monitor, detect and prevent cyber attacks on the entire bus,” said Ilan Hayat, Sital’s VP Business Development. “Sital customers using the BRM1553D IP can seamlessly upgrade to BRM1553-CS and deploy cyber resilience at scale and speed.”
The Secured 1553 solution is DO-254 DAL A compliant and suitable for all military and civil applications.
