Leading Korean supplier to include Hantro video technology in multimedia application processors

Oulu, Finland – 16th February 2004- Mtekvision Co. Ltd., as specialised company in the field of imaging technology, has licensed both the 4350 and 5350 MPEG-4/H.263 hardware video codecs from Hantro.

The Hantro 4350 Video Codec supports full motion video (30 frames per second) at resolutions up to CIF (352 x 288) The product is optimised for low power consumption, ideal for all mobile video applications. The Hantro 5350 provides for even higher resolution (up to VGA) enabling TV quality video capture with a mobile handset.
