Imagination reports strong momentum behind its Ensigma connectivity technologies in key markets
Toshiba offers extended range of TZ5000 application processors featuring connectivity and multimedia capabilities from Imagination
London, UK – March 27, 2015 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (IMG.L) reports that Toshiba Corporation’s family of TZ5000 series applications processors, which integrates a range of Imagination IP processors, including PowerVR graphics, video processors and Ensigma Explorer radio processors (RPU), has extended its series to include four additional applications processors.
The Toshiba TZ5010XBG, TZ5011XBG, TZ5021XBG and TZ5023XBG applications processors are the newest addition to Toshiba’s ApP Lite™ series. These processors also integrate high-speed wireless LAN and NAND flash memory in one package, targeting applications including IoT, over-the-top (OTT) tuners, IP media boxes, wearable devices, digital signage, thin client terminal devices and more.
In addition, reference designs using the Toshiba TZ5000 processors feature a companion analogue chip powered by Imagination’s Wi-Fi RF technology.
