SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Who were the winners and losers in the IC rankings for the first half of 2008?
In terms of worldwide IC sales in the first half, Intel was in first place, followed in order by Samsung, TI, Toshiba, TSMC, ST, Renesas, Hynix, Sony and Qualcomm, according to IC Insights Inc. (Scottsdale, Ariz.)
