Elliptic Semiconductor Names Stephen Yee as Vice President, Sales
Wednesday, January 4, 2006 – Ottawa, Canada: Elliptic Semiconductor Inc. today announced that the company has recruited Stephen Yee as their new Vice President, Sales. The company also announced today that Al Hawtin, a founder of the company, will take on a new role as Vice President, Marketing & Business Development.
Yee comes to Elliptic with more than fifteen years of experience in the semiconductor and EDA industries and over ten years of sales experience. He most recently served as vice president of international sales at Numerical Technologies, which was subsequently acquired by Synopsys. Prior to that, Yee was a charter member and vice president of international sales with Cadabra Design Automation, which later merged with Numerical. Yee also worked at LSI Logic over an eight year period holding key management positions in sales, strategic marketing, and engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Concordia University.
