Elliptic Adds Telecom veteran Scott Marshall to Board of Directors
July 17, 2008 - Ottawa, Canada: Richard White, President and CEO of Elliptic Semiconductor, is pleased to announce that Scott Marshall has been appointed to the Board of Directors.
Scott was most recently Senior Vice President of Engineering & Product Management with Redback Networks responsible for technical and product leadership prior to its acquisition by Ericsson. He has 30 years of networking and telecommunications experience in product and architecture strategy, engineering management, product development and executive leadership.
He was also a group vice president of Cisco Systems with responsibility for multiple business units, including DSL, wireless, Voice over IP, integrated access devices, multi-service switching, cable and dial remote access server and concentrators. He also served as president and chief executive officer of optical start-up Ceyba Corporation. Scott was executive vice president of research and development (R&D) and product management of Newbridge Networks and held senior technical roles at Mitel and Nortel.
