EagleChip Selects CAST TSN IP Core to Enhance Advanced Intelligent Control SoC
Joint solution to enable reliable, real-time Ethernet connectivity for next-generation mobility systems
Woodcliff Lake, NJ — November 19, 2025 — Semiconductor intellectual property (IP) provider CAST, Inc. today announced that Suzhou Yige Technology Co., Ltd. (EagleChip) has adopted CAST’s Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) Endpoint IP for integration into its next-generation intelligent control system-on-chip (SoC), designed for advanced mobility and industrial control applications.
The SoC under development by EagleChip requires efficient, deterministic, and reliable data communications with sensors and control units across complex embedded environments. The TSN Endpoint IP Core from CAST delivers real-time Ethernet connectivity compliant with the latest TSN standards, ensuring precise timing and predictable data transmission for safety- and performance-critical applications.
“CAST’s proven TSN IP provides the performance, scalability, and compact footprint that align perfectly with our system requirements,” said Lei, technical lead at EagleChip. “CAST’s long-standing expertise and comprehensive quality assurance ensure we can deliver a robust and efficient SoC solution to our customers.”
EagleChip’s selection of the TSN IP was supported by Pinnacle Design Systems, Inc., CAST’s representative in China.
“We are delighted to support EagleChip in applying CAST’s TSN technology to such an ambitious project,” said Willy Huang of Pinnacle. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to advancing reliable, real-time connectivity solutions for the evolving intelligent systems market.”
About the TSN IP Core
The TSN-EP Ethernet Endpoint Controller implements advanced features such as high-precision timing synchronization (IEEE 802.1AS-2020), traffic shaping and scheduling (802.1Qav), and stream filtering and policing (802.1Qci). It supports AMBA® host interfaces and TSN-compliant Ethernet ports (MII, GMII, RGMII), integrating a low-latency Ethernet MAC and hardware stacks for multiple IEEE TSN standards. The IP originates from CAST’s long-term partner Fraunhofer IPMS, a recognized contributor to global TSN standardization for automotive, industrial, and aerospace systems.
“We are honored to collaborate with EagleChip in applying our TSN technology to advanced control systems,” said Alexander Mozgovenko, TSN product manager at CAST.
