Dream Chip Technologies (DCT) joins the Arm Functional Safety Partnership Program
Hannover, Germany, November 5th, 2019 – Dream Chip Technologies, a leading address in Europe for SoC Design with engineering sites in Hannover, Hamburg, Eindhoven and Brunswick, has joined Arm’s Functional Safety Partnership Program to support the automotive semiconductor market with ISO26262 compliant Multi Processor System-on-Chip solutions based on the Arm ecosystem.
"For Dream Chip, joining Arm’s Functional Safety Partnership Program, this is an excellent way of strengthening our market presence" says Jens Benndorf, COO and Managing Director of Dream Chip Technologies, Germany. "At the same time it allows us to effectively support Arm´s IP customers who are looking for ISO26262 qualified chip designs. Thanks to our vast experience in architecting and designing complex automotive multiprocessor System-on-Chip products we are able to drive the market for customer specific ASIC and SoC solutions, which are targeted on autonomously driving vehicles. Being based on the most advanced silicon technologies, our chip products provide a high degree of differentiation with respect to processing power, cost and power consumption."
Dream Chip Technologies supports its SoC customers with turn key projects of ISO 26262 compliant chip designs but also by coaching the engineering teams for functional safety process introduction and support for ISO 26262 documentation for SoC developments like DIA, Safety Concept and Safety Manual. Furthermore, we support the Safety Analysis with techniques such as FMEA, FTA, DFA and FMEDA.
During the SoC design Dream Chip architects and designs complete and complex multiprocessor SoCs targeted on automotive ADAS and autonomous driving applications in the most advanced silicon technologies like 28nm, 22nm, 16/14/10/8 nm with support of ASIL A, B, C and D levels. Dream Chip Technologies manages the ISO26262 preparation and qualification of SoC designs for later certifications.
