Centrality Communications extends license with Imagination Technologies

November 16, 2006 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG; "Imagination") – a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") – reports that Centrality Communications (“Centrality”), a world leader in GPS SoC, has licensed a new video core from Imagination. Centrality will use this technology in its future generation of processors for navigation applications.

Centrality has previously licensed PowerVR MBX family graphics IP for use in advanced GPS SoC product, and has also extended this existing license.

Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP shipped by partners.
