Artisan's 130- and 90-Nanometer Memory Products Adopted by NVIDIA Corporation
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 2003--Artisan Components, Inc., (Nasdaq:ARTI), a leading provider of physical intellectual property (IP), today announced that NVIDIA(R) Corporation has adopted Artisan's design platform including its advanced memory products for NVIDIA's 130- and 90-nanometer designs. Artisan's support of many of the world's leading manufacturers enables NVIDIA to select Artisan's library platform across a broad range of process technologies and foundries.
Since 1998, starting in 0.25-micron technology, NVIDIA has taken advantage of the broad range of Artisan's IP products. In addition, NVIDIA has relied on Artisan's expertise to develop library products optimized to meet NVIDIA's aggressive performance, density and yield requirements.
"NVIDIA continues to choose Artisan because of the broad choice of products, process technologies and foundries that they offer," said Jen-Hsun Hunag, president and CEO at NVIDIA. "Artisan's track record of delivering quality products and services has contributed to NVIDIA's leadership position in the highly competitive graphics market."
"Artisan's collaboration with NVIDIA has focused on IP that combines aggressive performance with high manufacturability across multiple foundries," said Mark Templeton, president and chief executive officer of Artisan. "Working with technology leaders like NVIDIA helps keep Artisan out in front and lets us implement innovative product ideas early in each process lifecycle. We are honored that NVIDIA has once again chosen Artisan as their preferred design to manufacturing solution."
