Antrim expands product offerings to include mixed-signal intellectual property design packages
ANTRIM EXPANDS PRODUCT OFFERINGS TO INCLUDE MIXED-SIGNAL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DESIGN PACKAGES
Tools, IP and design services deliver comprehensive solution for telecommunication, multimedia and consumer electronics applications
Antrim Design Systems, the mixed-signal solutions company, will add portable mixed-signal intellectual property (IP) to its product portfolio this year in the form of Mixed-Signal Design Packages aimed at automating the design, analysis and retargetability of ADCs, DACs, PLLs and other Mixed-Signal blocks. Antrim already provides mixed-signal design tools and design services for complex system-on-chip design. The addition of intellectual property packages provides a unique solution to designers in the high growth mixed-signal markets.
The IP development team in Le Vaud, Switzerland, under Bendt Sorensen, vice president of technology and Antrim co-founder, has additional mixed-signal design packages for the consumer and telecommunications markets under development. Antrim is working with commercial foundries to validate the IP design packages.
"Successful mixed-signal design requires a unique combination of elements, and Antrim is committed to deliver the complete solution," said Roy McGuffin, president and CEO of Antrim. "Antrim's dedication to providing mixed-signal design tools that support an innovative, proven methodology with IP packages and design services is unrivaled. Our customers rely on Antrim's expertise in mixed-signal to achieve their goals. We will continue to expand our design tool suite while providing the intellectual property and services our clients require."
Antrim Tools
Antrim design tools support development, reuse and retargeting of mixed-signal IP. Antrim®-ACV provides an automated method for analysis, characterization, verification and reuse of mixed-signal designs. Using Antrim's Burst[tm] technology, multiple simulations execute in parallel across available processors on the network. Antrimâ-ACM provides exhaustive IP characterization and verification of user-defined conditions resulting in reusable, retargetable characterization plans producing "Silicon-Calibrated" [tm] behavioral models. Antrim®-MSS is Antrim's premier mixed-signal synthesis and optimization product. Antrim®-AMS is the industry's only single kernel mixed-signal simulator.
