Designed for efficiency. Programmed for performance.
Artificial Intelligence is transforming smartphones, bringing one-click photo enhancements, intelligent writing tools, and smart assistants into everyday use. But seamless AI integration shouldn’t come at the cost of great gaming, responsive interfaces, or battery life.
Imagination DXTP redefines graphics and compute acceleration for smartphones and other power-constrained devices. Designed for exceptional efficiency, it delivers the performance needed to run AI, gaming, and user interfaces smoothly and continuously, all day long.
The ultimate D-Series product
Imagination DXTP is the ultimate product in D-Series, combining many of the PowerVR architecture’s latest graphics, compute and efficiency features into one single offering. Graphics performance is boosted by fragment shading rate and 2D Dual-Rate Texturing, and AI tasks run faster thanks to better scheduling and more local memory.
On top of this, Imagination DXTP adds a wide array of micro-architectural improvements that together boost power efficiency by up to 20% over its D-Series predecessor, IMG DXT.
Asynchronous multitasking
As the most advanced parallel processing architecture for power-constrained devices, Imagination GPUs can be deployed to accelerate either graphics or AI tasks – or both at the same time!
Imagination DXTP’s asynchronous processing of different task types – like rendering the smartphone’s UI and accelerating an LLM – makes it a very flexible silicon investment.
Unlock real performance
Highly optimised OpenCL compute libraries (imgNN, imgFFT, imgBLAS) that help software developers achieve up to 80% GPU utilisation for common compute workloads are available for use with Imagination DXTP and ship alongside reference kits that accelerate the porting of existing code onto Imagination-based hardware.
A developer's dream
Imagination DXTP is supported by Imagination’s well-established software ecosystem and award-winning developer tools. Through the PowerVR Developer Portal, programmers can download low-level performance, analysis, debugging and trace capturing tools along with guides and examples, and access expert support through the developer forum.
