This 32768Hz crystal oscillator IP with embedded analog IOs has an embedded low power LDO and it is specifically designed for low power applications. The power supply is typically 3V, but it can be as low as 1.8V while the oscillator still functions properly. The oscillator works in parallel resonant mode of the crystal. When a 32768Hz quartz crystal is connected to the pins XIN32K and XOUT32K, the oscillator will output 32768Hz square wave, with the average current less than 1uA at typical condition. The RTC counter has been accomplished. The initial number of year/day/hour/minute/second/millisecond can be set and the time accuracy can be compensated at room temperature according to the test result of quartz. Time deviation is 1s per day at 25°C only. There is no temperature calibration scheme in the circuit.
