16~24Bit Stereo Audio CODEC, SMIC0.18um

Overview

The AR34S1 is a 90dB multi-bit sigma-delta audio CODEC designed for low power portable applications. It requires only single 1.8V power supply to operate both analog and digital circuits. It supports 8KHz to 48KHz sampling frequencies and takes 16-24 bit word-length audio data. The CODEC contains on-chip standard Digital Audio Interface (DAI) and a slave-mode I2C interface for SOC controlling. The signal-to-noise ratios (SNR) and dynamic range (DR) for both ADC and DAC are greater than 90dB, which enables high quality audio recording and HiFi playback capability. The single voltage, low power design is especially suitable for portable SOC audio applications. This IP is portable to other process technology.
