Titan IC launches "Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan" on AWS Marketplace
November 28, 2017 -- Titan IC puts the power of the search in your hands with the most flexible, customisable regular expression processor running at lightning speeds available now on the Amazon EC2 F1 compute instance, which is a compute instance with field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), in the cloud. The Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan is aimed at developers, developing high end search and scan applications, it can typically process 1TB of data with up to 800K user defined basic regular expressions in less than 15 minutes.
Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan is an FPGA-based Regular eXpression Processor (RXP), designed to be used as a CPU offload accelerator. It can deliver throughput acceleration up to 10Gbps aimed at complex pattern and string matching for file scanning and data analytic applications.
The Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan is hosted on the Amazon EC2 f1.2xlarge instance. The solution comprises of a preloaded 10GBps regular expression processor on the FPGA and all the SDK tools that a software engineer will require to develop bespoke applications using high speed regular expression (RegEx) pattern matching.
When comparing the Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan solution on the F1 platform with a software solution running on a high-end CPU, the Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan offers superior performance with significantly less vCPUs. The SDK is built on top of Amazon Linux and includes rules compiler, API, job generator and example C source code utilities to aid the user’s application development.
The Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan Application Programming Interface (API) allows easy and direct integration of offload acceleration into the customer applications supporting up to 1 million basic POSIX/PCRE or up to 10 thousand complex rules.
Launch “Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan” by visiting https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace.
Titan IC will soon be launching further AWS F1 products aimed at network analytics and security applications.
