sci-worx today joins Verisity Verification Alliance program.
Berkeley (Ca/USA) and Hannover (Germany); December 14, 2000 - As a leading System-on-Chip (SoC) soft IP provider, sci-worx is going to use Specman Elite? to help customers close the verification gap for today's complex SoC projects.
Joining the Verification Alliance program, sci-worx introduces a new methodology to reduce customers' verification load by providing IP (DesignObjects®) together with reusable verification components.
Focusing on highquality IP, sci-worx integrates Verisity's tools into both its design flow and the existing IP Qualification and Certification process.
''To meet customers' increasing demands for IP quality, Verisity provides critical solutions to address the verification automation process as well as the IP integration problem," says Thomas Hötzel, Chief Operating Officer at sci-worx. "The higher abstraction level inherent to Specman Elite? reduces the gap between Specification and Implementation, whereas the capability of functional verification analysis gives us the ability to prove extensive DesignObject® verification to our customers."
Related to the Verification Alliance program the Microelectronic Akademie, a sci-worx subsidiary, will extend its training program for instructing engineers in using Verisity's e-verification language.
"The Verification Alliance program provides a way for sci-worx to deliver e-Verification Components (eVCs), which are reusable pieces of verification code that dramatically ease their customers verification task," said Dieter Rudolf, Area Director Central Europe for Verisity. "We are excited to have sci-worx join the program and are looking forward to working with them on developing eVCs."
sci-worx- Europe's leading Intellectual Property and Design Service Provider for Networking, Telecommunications and Multimedia.
