RichCore Announces 10-Gigabit Ethernet MAC Cores -- RC2280
October 28, 2003 Santa Clara, California - Semiconductor intellectual property (IP) core provider RichCore Technology, Inc. today announced one new core implementing popular networking standards: the 10-Gigabit Ethernet Media Access Controller.
The new core provide complete support of industry standards and make it quick and cost-effective for designers to incorporate high-speed Ethernet in their systems. Designed for reliable reuse and packaged with verification aids and documentation, the cores are available in source form for ASIC synthesis or as netlists optimized for various programmable devices.
The 10-Gigabit Ethernet MAC core, implements full duplex Media Access Protocol with integrated Reconciliation Sub-layer (RS) functionalities as proposed by the IEEE 802.3ae task force draft 4.1. CC410 supports an XGMII Interface. On the application side, an asynchronous FIFO interface is designed to be seamless connected to any internal logic.
About RichCore Technology, Inc.
RichCore Technology's main business is to design, develop, and license innovative video compression and high speed networking IP cores to meet the growing demand for superior quality multimedia communication and networking requirements, in the fields of consumer IC, PC and networking applications.
Privately owned and operating since 2001, RichCore currently is focusing on the development of various MPEG-4/H.264 IP with the state of the art algorithms, architectures and design methodologies, the company has established a
