ProDesign's CHIPit Verification Platform Chosen by VisionFlow for Development of Its Video and Imaging Designs
- ProDesign, the proven source for hardware-assisted verification platforms for ASIC and SoC development today announced that its CHIPit™ Platinum Edition was chosen by VisionFlow for development of its video and imaging designs. The CHIPit Platinum Edition is a scalable FPGA prototyping system that offers high speed SoC verification of complex designs, and its flexible and high-speed architecture offers a cost-effective alternative to the costly and complex emulators that was once considered the primary solution.
VisionFlow's high-performance and cost effective SoCs and system modules provide secure networked media solutions for wireless networks, broadband Internet and high-definition video. "The flexibility and speed of ProDesign's CHIPit platform coupled with their familiarity with video and imaging designs made them the clear choice," said John Yuan, president and CEO for VisionFlow. "Due to CHIPit's ease-of-use and specifically its UMRbus, we've been able to effectively integrate and demonstrate networked media solutions to customers positioned in this highly competitive technology market."
"As competition in emerging technology markets is ever increasing, early deployment of application specific product and system solutions is more important than ever before," stated Gerhard Scherer, president of ProDesign USA. "ProDesign has been able to leverage its 22 years as a electronics system solution provider of complex designs and continues to forge advancements in its CHIPit family of verification platforms to produce high quality solutions that our customers expect."
The CHIPit family of verification platforms can be applied to a wide range of development projects including the development of a new wireless SoC or a new networking ASIC. CHIPit's flexible architecture allows users to apply a verification and validation methodology based on the speed of their design running on the CHIPit platform and it also allows the user to combine CHIPit platforms to accommodate the ongoing development and increased complexity of their designs.
ProDesign will be demonstrating its CHIPit verification platform at the Embedded Systems Conference, March 30 to April 1 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Please visit us at Booth #413.
