eMemory Collaborates with MagnaChip to Offer One Time Programmable Macro for 0.18 um CMOS Process
HSINCHU, Taiwan and SEOUL, Korea -- Feb. 18, 2008 -- eMemory Technology Inc., a world renowned provider of logic embedded non-volatile memory (NVM) intellectual property (IP), today announced that it has signed an agreement to collaborate with MagnaChip Semiconductor Ltd., a leading Asia- based designer and manufacturer of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products for high volume consumer applications, in the development of embedded NVM technology and the qualification of an 0.18um One Time Programmable (OTP) macro using both the CMOS logic and high-voltage processes.
eMemory's OTP technology can be applied in analog, LCD driver, and network ICs for the purpose of data storage, code programming, and trimming. The technology does not require any additional mask or process steps.
