inSilicon Appoints Kevin M. Walsh as Vice President of Marketing
San Jose, CA , May 20, 2002 - inSilicon Corporation (Nasdaq: INSN) -- a leading provider of connectivity semiconductor intellectual property (IP), today announced the appointment of Kevin M. Walsh as vice president of Marketing. Mr. Walsh joins the company as one of the executive team reporting to Barry A. Hoberman, president and CEO.
Mr. Walsh brings over 20 years experience in product line and strategic marketing management to inSilicon. Most recently vice president of Product Marketing at Sequence Design, he has also held executive marketing positions at Sapphire Design, Simplex, and Anacad/EES, and has served as marketing director at Avanti, Mentor Graphics, and Ross Systems. He has helped launch companies and products in both the engineering and financial services markets.
