ARM Announces The Release Of Multiple Standard Cell Libraries On TSMC 90nm and 65nm Processes

October 25, 2006

--  ARM has released multiple standard cell libraries on TSMC 90- nanometer (nm) and 65-nm processes covering a broad range of mobile and generic applications. The ARM® Advantage™ standard cell libraries, part of its family of Artisan® physical IP, on the TSMC 65LP process, are especially important for mobile applications with low-leakage requirements. The Advantage-HS 65nm high-speed library is ideal for high-performance ARM® processor implementations such as the Cortex™-A8 processor. The Advantage performance and density optimized library complements the Advantage-HS high-performance libraries for area and power-sensitive blocks in a system-on-chip design or other mobile mainstream applications. Additionally, the Advantage and Metro™ standard cell libraries on TSMC 90G processes are well suited for general-purpose applications, with Metro libraries especially important for area-sensitive applications.
