Show me the chips! Cortex-M4 based microcontrollers have arrived
The semiconductor IP industry is truly fascinating…Being the world’s leading semiconductor IP vendor, ARM is in the unique position of developing technology that shapes the future of electronics that surrounds us. The decisions we make today drive the incredible range of possibilities for the industry over the next few years. When we were developing the Cortex-M4, we would talk everyday about the kinds of cool products it would enable one day.
Now we are one big step closer to this being a reality!
Freescale has announced an incredible portfolio of over 200 MCUs based on the Cortex-M4 processor. The Kinetis family provides a large and highly scalable product portfolio, with the Cortex-M4 running at between 50MHz and 180 MHz across 7 product families.
