Image scaler IP

The UHT-SCALER core provides an image and video processing block which converts input images of one size and sampling format to output images of a different size and/or sampling format.
It supports scaling of 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0 and 4:0:0 (grayscale) image streams with 8- up to 16-bit color depth, using the BILINEAR, BICUBIC, LANCZOS and EXPFILTER scaling methods.
The UHT-SCALER is a standalone and high-performance scaler core, designed for enabling high-quality and ultra-high throughput performance, even in low-end target silicon technologies. The UHT-SCALER is available for ASIC or AMD-Xilinx, Efinix, Intel, Lattice and Microchip FPGA and SoC based designs.

The VSC-4KX is a high quality polyphase scaler for up/down/cross conversion between video formats up to 4K resolution.
The VSC-4KX up converts SD/HD video signals to 4K resolution and down converts 4K inputs to SD or HD.
In addition, the VSC-4KX can cross convert a 4K input to a 4K output with up/down scaling.

Any input <= 4096x2160p scaled to any output <= 4096x2160p

The VSC-4KD is a high quality polyphase scaler for down converting 4K inputs to standard definition or high definition format.
4K quadrant based format as used with Quad 3G-SDI links, as well as side-by-side format used with DisplayPort 1.2, are both supported.
Pixels at the boundaries between tiles are processed correctly such that no seams are ever visible.

The VSC-4KU is a high quality polyphase scaler for up converting standard definition and high definition video signals to 4K resolution.
4K quadrant based format as used with Quad 3G-SDI links, as well as side-by-side format used with DisplayPort 1.2, are both supported.
Pixels at the boundaries between tiles are processed correctly such that no seams are ever visible. The scaler may be used in conjunction with the VPC-1 Video Processor and Deinterlacer IP core or with any other customer or third party IP.

The VSC-2 is a high quality polyphase scaler including electronic keystone correction which has been optimized for video and graphics applications.
The scaler may be used in conjunction with the VPC-1 Video Processor and Deinterlacer IP core or with any other customer or third party IP.
Support for both shrink and zoom modes allows full screen display of any video or graphics source as well as arbitrary resizing for PIP applications.
