Zoran Corporation Announces Completion of Emblaze Semiconductor Acquisition
Sunnyvale, California - July 8, 2004 - Zoran Corporation, a leading provider of digital solutions on-a-chip for applications in the growing digital entertainment and digital imaging markets (Nasdaq: ZRAN), today announced the completion of its acquisition of Emblaze Semiconductor, a subsidiary of Emblaze Ltd. (LSE: BLZ) and a provider of semiconductor-based solutions for high volume multimedia mobile phones. Zoran does not anticipate that the transaction will have any impact on its current earnings forecast for the remainder of 2004.
