CircuitSutra launches synthesizable model of ARM AMBA AXI to cut development time of chips for mobile devices
High Level Synthesis – Quick Start Package (HLS-QSP) from CircuitSutra
Noida, India, 30th Jan, 2014 - CircuitSutra Technologies, an ESL design IP & Services company, announced that it will showcase its synthesizable modeling IP for ARM® AMBA® AXI™ at the upcoming conference IESA Vision Summit, 3rd Feb in Bangalore. CircuitSutra developed this model in collaboration with Forte Design Systems, and it is compatible with Forte’s Cynthesizer™ SystemC high-level synthesis (HLS) tool. The model is part of the High Level Synthesis – Quick Start Package (HLS-QSP) from CircuitSutra.
“High Level Synthesis (HLS) is an important part of ESL methodology for the design and verification of System on Chips (SoC),” said Umesh Sisodia, CEO at CircuitSutra. “As the industry is adopting new methodologies, the modeling IP is becoming as important as semiconductor design and verification IP. HLS-QSP from CircuitSutra helps the customers to quickly get started with the HLS based design flow, and achieve significant productivity gain.”
About HLS-QSP
High Level Synthesis – Quick Start Package (HLS-QSP) is a library of basic models and modelling infrastructure developed using SystemC Synthesizable Subset, that can be used to quick start SoC design at higher abstraction level using high-level synthesis (HLS) methodology. Synthesizable model of AXI4 bus is part of the HLS-QSP. It is an off the shelf re-usable model that can be used by the hardware designers for developing the AXI compliant IP blocks.
CircuitSutra also provides VP-QSP, the quick start package for virtual prototyping.
