RC Oscillator - 256 MHz

Overview

HCLTech offers IP RC Oscillator core consists of digital to analog current converter [IDAC], Ring Oscillator and Level shifter. The IDAC provides the required amount of bias current to the oscillator block for achieving the required frequency for ring oscillator. The ring oscillator contains three inverting stages, and the output of the ring oscillator is connected to input and forming a loop and used to generate the required frequency. The ring oscillator bias circuit is required to generate the output frequency of 256MHz at normal mode and 128MHz at low power mode on receiving the required amount of current from the IDAC block in typical condition.
